One Faith
One Focus
One Country
One Week

I trust and believe that there is, at the very minimum, a beginning of God's glory rising over Haiti as we have asked our Heavenly Father to drive back the enemy there. May the glory of the Living Lord shine on Haiti.

This week we will be praying for an equally difficult nation. Might as well get the hard ones on the mend first.
Please join with me in expecting a miraculous move of God in North Korea. There is change afoot in North Korea as Kim Jong-il recently let the world in on who he has chosen to succeed him - his third son [Kim Jong-un]

Pyongyang, the North Korean capitol, was once the New Jerusalem of Asia, prior to the communist takeover. Billy Graham's wife, Ruth Bell Graham, attended boarding school in Pyongyang while her parents served as missionaries in China. I do believe God has great plans for Korea - if the people of God will humble themselves and pray.

Believe for God to move mightily in North Korea this week.

They run on the cities, they run on the walls, great is the army that carries out His Word

World Changers

We are believing for our Heavenly Father to do a mighty work in Haiti this week.
This is another country that has been in the news a lot recently; and now even more bad news, as there is a cholera outbreak there that has already killed hundreds.

Haiti is truly a country steeped in darkness. We must pray against the liar - for his grip to come off of that land and for the bright, healing light of Jesus to move across Haiti. It will truly be a battle in the heavenlies for this country.
Pray for the power of the mighty God to free the people of Haiti from the clutches of the liar.

Great is our God

Power up prayers for CHILE

As we finish out the week of lifting up Chile before the Lord -

lets power it up some and ask for unity of the body of Christ there

Also, ask that the priests and pastors totally give themselves over to the Lord Jesus and the filling of His Holy Spirit that they may lead others into paths of Righteousness; that Chile might truly be a land where Jesus is exalted.

Let's finish strong in interceding for this country.

God bless Chile.

Pray for Chile

Chile has been all over the news recently as 33 miners were successfully rescued.
Just a few months back Chile was in the news again as an earthquake measuring 8.8 on the richter scale devastated the country in early March.

The history of Chile has also been one of turmoil, but in recent years there has been enough stability there so that people are immigrating to this long narrow country in S. America.

Pray for President Sebastian Pinera and others in leadership in Chile. Pray for the followers of Jesus to stay strong and walk in the light of His love that others may see and know the God who loves them so.

Rejoice

The following is the conclusion of a story carried in the Daily Mail - a London newspaper.

No matter how much human folly and wickedness attempts to disprove it, clinging to the belief that we are part of one human family allows us all to dwell in Camp Hope.

That is surely what gives this astonishing, moving story its resonance.

A deep religious faith powered this rescue; miners and families and rescuers alike believe their prayers were answered.

One of the miners said: ‘I was with God and the Devil. They fought. God won.’

Pray that God will now use this to move mightily across this country.

Changing the Nations

One Faith

We are called to pray.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray ......

The world is a mess, has been a mess and will remain a mess until Jesus changes the hearts of the people

God is moving mightily in China, yet there are still over 1 billion people who walk in darkness in this land. That is 1 followed by 000000000. That is 1,000,000,000 more people than live in the US

So much of the world suffers under crippling poverty, looking to false gods to somehow bail them out.
Jesus said I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly. I am the way, the truth and the life

Without Jesus, there is no life. With Jesus, there is not only life everlasting, but there is the joyful, abundant overflowing life, rigth here right now.

Many people in other countries pray for America [http://www.charismamag.com/index.php/news/29393] Let’s return the favor.

The Church of the Living God has been engaged in missions since Jesus said, ‘Go make disciples, teach’. The Church has become even more engaged in reaching the lost for the past 2 centuries. Yet, the world stumbles on in darkness, suffering under demonic influence and looking for answers.

This past week I really felt impressed that the body of Christ should believe in faith with a clear focus on praying, trusting, believing for God to move on one country as we spend one week in prayer.

I ask only two things of you

Send this and following messages about the specified country to other friends/family and get your prayer groups and pastors involved in this.
Faithfully pray for the designated country. Pray during your quiet time. As your small group gathers pray for the country. Make it a point of prayer for your church family. Lift up the particular nation during the day for a whole week.

If we truly believe in the power of prayer, then we can make a difference

Please join in on this as we exalt Jesus before the nations.

I don’t need a reply Just pass this along and get others involved. I’ll send out the nation for this week tomorrow.

Thank you for changing the world though your prayers.

Kunming Until Wednesday - We Think

We have been having fun in Kunming but the government doesn't like for us tourist to stay longer than 30 days at a time, so we have to vacate the country by next Friday or be subject to a healthy fine.
Also, trying to sort thru stuff that we left stored here when we left in April. Dave managed to give away/sell/barter all of our furniture after we left so we're down to files and clothes and knick knacks and books and books and a few more books. Books are heavy. Books make the cost of shipping go up and up. That does not make us smile.
Looks like we'll be flying to Hong Kong on Wednesday and hang out there for a few days.
